Katelyn
Katelyn Western is a Joplin native, and is the founder of Joyful Beginnings. She has been a birth doula for 10+ years, and has supported many types of births- from home births to c-sections. Her passion is educating and equipping families to be able to make the best choices for them. She loves hearing their hopes and dreams, working through fears, and coming up with an individualized plan that is unique to each growing family.
Katelyn and her husband have been married for 15 years, and homeschool their four children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, crafting, and is a certified group fitness instructor.
